Whats the difference in these two titles. At first I thought it was tabla players with Ustad as their master titles, but then I saw a bunch of tabla players with the title Pandit, along with alot of other guys like Ravi Shankar and ShrivKumar Sharma? |

Something else to keep in mind. These titles are given by general consensus of the people, and acknowledged by either one's guru, university staff, or a government. You can not give yourself that title! There are some musicians I have noted who do so, and they that is not right. |
