MESSAGE BOX= FULL

Post by OM GUY » Mon Apr 30, 2012 8:47 pm

So, my message box is full. I toggle down to mark and delete them all, press <click> and nothing disappears. What am I doing wrong?

After you click on the box nest to the messages you want to delete, did you go to the bottom and from the pulldown at the right choose Delete Marked? Then click on "Go"?

Yup.

Marked all messages, marked them for delete, pressed "GO" and nada... they are still there. :?:

David may have the answer. I just tried with a couple of mine and it worked OK.

One thing to try is to see if you can delete one or two to start.

Yup.

Done that several times, and no luck.

Computers aren't my favourite toys to play with. What I think is totally logical, isn't ..

Can you pass this all to Dave, please?

Thanks for trying, Pov.. :D

I passed the link to this thread along to David. I assume things are as they were?

It is a long shot but you might want to try a couple of more things:

Clear your internet cache, logout of the forums and then login again

Try deleting a couple og essages after that.

Thanks, POV, got it figured out. Seems as if after one puts the check mark in to delete, and presses "GO", a second page pops up. One has to scroll down to answer the big question: " Hey, man, are you sure you wanna do this??? "

I'm not the best computer operator, honestly. The less bells and whistles, knobs and switches, the better.
