Thanks for the info.

I have not been able to find it, so I have sent some email off to my support people. I will let you know what they find.

Peace

Dear Shawn

I searched through everything and found nothing. The support guys found nothing. Can you come up with some more details as to where this script is supposed to be? I would appreciate whatever info you can come up with.

peace

David Courtney

Dear David,

This is totally ridiculous. Here is their latest response:

"Sorry, it was a false detection. It will be fixed in the next update. Thank you for your help."

At least there is no problem!

Dear Shawn and everybody out there

First of all Shawn, I need to thank you very much for the time you have put in in in this matter. Next I need to thank every one of you for your patience in this matter. I assure you all that it has always been my top priority to to provide a "clean" board for all the users. By "clean" I mean clean from trojans, clean from malware, as well as clean from links to sites that are compromised. I have also worked to keep it clean from links to porno and low quality commercial sites. I know that there are frequent links to Indian music services, suppliers, and products, often of dubious quality. However this later category is well within the scope of the site and I do not feel that it is my right to interfere.

It appears that the computing world is headed for a meltdown. I blame corporatisation for the problem. Our water has been corpororatised, our prison system has been coporoatised, our political system has been corporatised, and the fundamentals of our economy have been corporatised. Remember the goal of the corporate philosophy is to extract as much money for the minimum service possible. The ideal is of course, is to provide zero service and extract ungodly amounts of revenue for this. It seems that the later case is becoming close to reality in our society. This is especially the case with Microsoft products.

As for as this forums, I can assure you that it has never, ever been hosted on a Windows server. This was an intentional decision in order to provide the highest reliability and safety possibly. I have always depended upon the reliability and safety of open sourced software and operating systems.

If you have any questions, never hesitate to contact me:

Dear David,

Your creation, hosting, and ongoing development of this site has been and continues to be an invaluable resource to the Indian music community worldwide. I truly appreciate all the work you are putting in, and am glad to help in what small way I can. You run this site with 110% integrity, and I'm sure that no one would ever think otherwise.

Best regards,
Shawn

I don't believe Kaspersky is a 'Microsoft product" ??? As for me I've never a had a false trojan detection here; only an occasional warning from my Chrome browser (beats Safari IMO.) But many thanks and much appreciation for the concern, David.
Otherwise I think the issue is blown somewhat out-of-proportion.
If he could sing, and nature to accompany him, what need would he have for an instrument?

If the problem is caused by an iframe then it may not actually be on the chandrakantha servers, but on the website to which the iframe ad redirects. The iframe itself can sometimes also be interpreted as a trojan attempt by some AV softwares because of the way it links to another website.Which of your ads are using iframes, David? Try to get normal picture banner ads and avoid the iframe ones, unless its really necessary....this way you avoid false positives.

...other than banners using gif's and jpg's, an iframe is a piece of another website embedded on your site, if that site is infected, the alarms would also be triggered on your site, unless you remove that iframe embed code .....

The only things on the entire site which direct to other sites are:

1) Google ads

2) Googla Analytics

3) Youtube Videos

Thats it! There is nothing else.

Peace

I haven't used PC's for while, but last this happened to me, I got rid of the virus by booting the computer into 'safe mode' (press F8 when booting up - you'll know it's in safe mode by the text in the corners of the desktop) and then running AV software. Do you have windows defender too?

Hello! It happened to me and I didn't know what to do. I changed my antivirus looking for a solution and it happened to work. It deletes something or did something, I don't know what but I have no problem any more. Maybe it's becouse my good luck or it's the program I use. I mean this one kaspersky internet security 7 Take care!
