Neat (although I think your Hindi is better than mine).
I find it interesting how there used to be more variety in styles of dancing kathak, and there are fewer now. Everyone wants or needs to study with Birju Maharaj and learn his style. I find like watching dancers like Naheed Siddiqi because I think she's dancing an older style in some ways. There is a video of Shambhu Maharaj in the SNA archives, and he drops his arms in a similar way.
Just some thoughts on a seeming hegemony...
