Got a magic file. You put it next to the sitar at night and when you wake up in the morning it's all done.
A few days ago this jowari was just not working out. I blamed everybody from Archimedes to Einstein for fiddling with the laws of physics until I looked at my file and it occured to me that I had it for years. So I bought a new one.
Medium size second cut, local hardware store. 7 quid.
Jowari took ten minutes. If life was just always so simple.
Moral of the story, get a sharp file and never use it for anything else.
These things wear out slowly. If in doubt, get a new one.

A little off topic, but this reminds me of when airport security once tried to take away my magic file and tool kit. I made a beeline for the nearest post office and posted it to myself at home. I then went back through security and boarded the plane safe in the knowledge that my trusty file and kit would be waiting for me when I returned! Perhaps I should have let it go and bought a new one
