Using Indian fret thread.

How do I Indian fret thread without it tangling? This weird knot they use is confounding.

I gave up on that stuff years ago. I highly recommend getting "C-lon" or similar thread in all kinds of suitable colors. Latte, antique gold, gold, wine red, black - whatever. Any bead / craft shop usually stocks it. I get mine from "Baubles and Beads " Berkeley, CA. Website - yes. It's really good stuff and doesn't tangle.
