obscure rudra veena recordings

In the Anant Bedekar topic, cabaray mentioned,
cabaray wrote:Thanks once again Axel. You da man when it comes to obscure rudra veena recordings! Its been such an eduction for me.
That got me thinking... does anybody have any recordings of Shamsuddin Faridi Desai, other than the India Archive and Makar label recordings? We have so little from the master...
Puriya, Yaman, Komal Rishabh Asavari and Darbari.
And, I've only ever seen that one short video of him...

Those cover what I have of his playing. The darbari was a relatively recent addition but dang. There should be more.

Somewhere in my collection I have a recording of him playing in the Sanskritik Festival Of Arts Of India. It's not very good as it's from a distance & the clowns hadn't miked him properly. We'll see.

Hey Axel! Great to see other S.F. Desai recordings, but Rapidshare has been giving "Download not available
File owner's public traffic exhausted
." since you reposted the link.

Is there any chance of shifting it to MediaFire or another download site?

Again, many thanks for these!

Success.
Well, it works now. I did understand the reason for the message but it finally dawned on me that I am in the Pacific Time Zone. So rather than waiting for early morning MY time, I waited for early morning (like 1-2AM) in Europe and voila! :D
