Does anyone have a traditional veena for sale?

Post by RobertMaya » Sat Sep 03, 2016 8:30 pm

Does anyone have a traditional veena for sale on the west coast (I live in SoCal)? I'm looking to purchase an instrument and begin lessons, so if anyone has an instrument they'd be willing to sell or a teacher they recommend, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers ,
Robert

What do you understand as being a 'traditional' veena.A South Indian Saraswati Veena ? North Indian Rudra Veena?

Oops - I meant a traditional Rudra veena meant to be played over the shoulder as opposed to the dagar style.

hello,

I do have for sale a real gem, done by the best rudra veena maker ever : Kanai Lal, the Stradivarius of the Dhrupad style musical instruments.
I had posted the advertising and some pictures on this same forum.
I can send you more pictures and informations should you want.
