Thanks Peeceebee still experimenting with strings and set up .my idea in starting this project was to make a sarangi for use in small loud environments .After playing my acoustic instrument with Honky Dub, a uk psy trance act electronica with live bass and sarangi .played some nice gigs but the bass and the sarangi skin don,t mix well works like a snare.since starting this many other advantage have come to mind .much quicker tuning for practice stays in tune !!can be played unplugged /headphones .a easier instrument to make a start on skills which will transfer to the original .learning to tune 40 strings when starting is a bridge to far for most .so still surprised myself at the sound so far and hoping for more thanks for the feedback
