What's the last "good" kaida you got your hands on that you like and play comfortably and confidently?

Try this along the same lines.

Composer: ustad amir hussain khan
Source: pdt. Arvind mulgaonkar's book "athavnicha doh"
Type: kaida delhi style. Chatushra jati. Teen taal.

Dhitadhage dhinnagena dhitadhage dhinnagena Dhitadhita dhatitadha
genadhage tinnakena dhatitadha genadhage tinnakena dhitadhita
Dhitadhita dhatitadha genadhage tinnakena

Titatake tinnakena titatake tinnakena titatita tatitata
Kenatake tinnakena dhatitadha genadhage tinnakena dhitadhita
Dhitadhita dhatitadha genadhage dhinagena

nikas: all phrases on the daya are executed with index and middle finger only. ie the whole piece is played with just 2 fingers.

Here's one my guru just taught me recently.

Dha taDha TiDha GeNa DhaTi DhaGe tinakena
Ta taTa TiTa KeNa DhaTi DhaGe Dhina Gina

It's played Dha (half beat pause) then the "ta" is played with the ring finger on the edge of the syahi. Ti like in TiTa. I have fun with this one, so I hope you do too.
