Software to playback compositions

Post by saaca » Mon Sep 16, 2013 6:56 pm

Hi guys

Is anyone aware of any software that will let you type in a tabla composition, no matter how complicated and then play it back to you?

Kind regards

An old thread about similar question:

There is of course the rather pricey (over $100 I think) Swarshala 3.1 here:

I use the old swarshala 2.0 I got a long time ago which suits my purpose, but they no longer sell it.

There is also the free software call Naad:

My opinion given without any warranties, expressed or implied, that it's even relevant. It would be folly to rely on my opinion without seeking more professional tabla advice. If you are suffering from a tabla condition, seek immediate attention.

I made a very basic tool for creating tabla rhythms.
It is quite limited but also doesn't sound too bad.. give it a go.
It is hard to create multiple time subdivisions with it currently as I never really finished it.
There are example pages in the browser which you can edit and then resave.
